Question: I have purchased a Premium Account, but your system does not log me in. What could be wrong?

Question: I might enter my e-mail address when I register as a regular or premium-member. Will I receive any solicitation emails to my e-mail address?

Answer: NO, you will not. We do not sell or give anybody e-mail addresses of our users. The only communication you may receive to your e-mail address from us are notification messages about our serice. You need to enter your e-mail for password recovery.

Question: For how long my uploaded file will be stored on Extabit.com?

Any file is allowed to be stored in our system if it complies with our terms of service and user agreement, and does not violate the laws of your country. This particularly means that files that violate the copyright laws or containing any copyright infringement information will be deleted as soon as they are reported or found.

Question: I do not have a registered account on Extabit.com. For how long my files will be stored?

Answer: You can upload an unlimited number of files to our system and place their download URLs anywhere you want, like on your website, page, public message forums, live journals, blogs, social networks (Twitter, FaceBook, My Space), etc. You can send download URLS of those files to your friends via Instant Messaging systems, like ICQ, AIM, Yahoo Messenger, Google Talk, and also of course via e-mails (excluding spam, of course),.

Downloading files from Extabit.com

Question: What are limitations for download of files from Extabit.com?

Answer: There is no limitation for the number of downloads of any file in our system! If you are not a Premium member, you can upload only one file at a time. Premium members can download unlimited number of files simultaneously, each in several threads, and resuming of interrupted downloads are also supported! Moreover, you can use any download accelerator, such as Download Master, FlashGet, etc.

Question: Why sometimes files are downloaded very slowly?

Answer: The low speed may be also caused by the fact that the same file is downloaded simultaneously from a number of places. In such cases internet traffic is shared among all the users. If you want to have priority for downloading, we recommend registering a Premium Account or try to download this file at a later time.

Question: Your system for some reason informs me that I´m currently downloading files or have already downloaded too many, though I haven´t downloaded any files yet! Why is that?

Answer: Our system uses your IP-address to count the amount of downloads. If you receive such notice and you really haven´t downloaded anything, then you probably use the proxy-server that is simultaneously used by other people. You should turn off such proxy-server(s),. If your provider doesn´t allow it the only possible solution for you is Premium Account . Premium-account uses cookies (not IP addresses), for counting your downloads.

Question: File that I wanted to download absets on the server?

Answer: Files could be deleted by 3 reasons:
  1. By complaint of file holders;
  2. Time of File storage is over;
  3. Person who uploaded file to service, deleted it.
Also there is possibility that server, where file is situated, is temporarily unavailable. In such case you'll receive notification.

Question: Why does Windows Media Player start while downloading file?

Answer: To solve this problem, you will have to disable comparison with AVI files in Windows Media Player. You can do that step by step. In Windows Media Player you should open menu Service, then go to Parameters, then Type Of Files, remove the check mark on AVI (mp3, mpg, etc), whatever kind of files you are having problems with.

By simple click on button "Browse" you are choosing file that you would like to upload to our service. You should click button "Upload" and wait until your file uploads to our web servers. (it is not recommended to use type of file upload if size of file is bigger than 2GB because in this case it will not be possible to re-upload or continue uploading files while sudden breakage of telephone line),
  2. FTP - uploading. FTP is a file transfer protocol. To start uploading files through FTP, you will need a special program for that, which would help to connect to our web service. There are pretty much of them in Internet, there are some free ones like this one: , there are also not free ones . Which ones to use is up to you. There are a lot of settings, checkboxes, buttons and menus in any of programs, just don't be afraid, to make stable connection you will need to follow just three parameters: your login, password and server address. After uploading complete links and information about them will appear in your account on the page FTP upload , where you'll need to upload files from FTP server on the Extabit.com servers. For that you simply have to click 'Upload'.

Question: Why not all of my file downloads are being counted?

Answer: We pay you money for unique downloads of your files. If person who downloads your file for last 24 hours, has downloaded any of your files, then this download will not be counted as unique one, and you will not get paid for those people.

Question: How come there is the same amount of downloads in ´My Files´ section and different amount of downloads in ´Statistics´ section?

Answer: There are non unique downloads for each file separately in ´My Files´ section and total amount of unique downloads in ´Statistics´ section. For instance, if two files were downloaded from same IP, then you will be counted twice (two downloads), in ´My files´ section, but you will be counted once (one download), in ´Statistics´ section.

Question: How long will my files be stored?

Answer: File storage time is 20 days after last download. But if you'll buy extended premium you could store 100Gb of files while your premium is active.

Question: Why can't I upload file to server by Remout upload?

Answer: Please be sure that link to file that you are trying to upload, is direct. Please be sure that file you are trying to upload is available for uploading. If you want to upload files from another file sharing service, please remember that in most cases free link generates especially for you, nobody except you can use it.

Question: How can I get money to my wallet

Answer: First of all you need visit webmaster menu in payments part. Than near 'Wallet' inscription click on 'Change' button and you'll be forwarded to the WMZ wallet (PayPal account) change page.
